Waterbury Regulator # 82

Waterbury Clock Regulator No.82 is an impressive timepiece made about 1915.  Handsome in its overall look with the slope of the top to the color of the fine mohogany wood. The 41" length makes this clock a striking object for the center of attention in any large room. The old glass in the front is original and the pendulum is beautiful. This is a time only thirty day clock with a second hand.  This spring driven version has two springs that both drive the time only movement.  It has a 12"painted dial that is almost perfect with just some fine crackling. The Movement of this clock was cleaned prior to our aquiring it. I have gone over the movement and it is in great condition other than it was stripped of its lacquer when cleaned. The repairer was obviously careful not to get fingerprints on the brass so it is just fine for now.
